Our Farm

Nestled in Newchapel, Surrey, Little Pink Garden grows on a small but mighty plot dedicated to cultivating sustainably. With space to produce tens of thousands of stems each year, every metre of our soil is used with intention and longevity. We’re supporting a diverse, ever-changing selection of blooms while regenerating the health of the land and eco-system.

WE INVITE BALANCE THROUGH NATURAL SYSTEMS–PLANTING FOR POLLINATORS, HOSTING DUCKS TO MANAGE SLUGS, AND ADDING TREES TO ENCOURAGE BIODIVERSITY.

WE CULTIVATE OUR OWN SEEDS FOR NEXT YEARS CROP, AS WELL AS INVESTING AND EXPERIMENTING WITH NEW STOCK.

How We Farm

CARING FOR OUR LAND

Every decision on the farm is made with soil health and long-term resilience in mind. We rotate crops to prevent depletion, sow cover crops through winter to protect and feed the soil, and use compost and mulch to retain moisture and build fertility. Instead of relying on synthetic fertilisers or pesticides, we invite balance through natural systems—planting for pollinators, hosting ducks to manage slugs, and adding trees to encourage biodiversity. We reduce mains water use through on-site systems that harvest rainwater, recycle grey water and channel runoff for irrigation. Even on our compact plot, these regenerative practices don’t just sustain the farm—they improve it, season after season.

WE FARM WITH THE SOIL FRONT OF MIND; USING REGENERATIVE PRACTICES THAT RESTORE FERTILITY, PROTECT BIODIVERSITY, AND STRENGTHEN THE LAND YEAR AFTER YEAR.

WHY WE FARM THIS WAY

What began as a quiet patch of land has grown into a vibrant space rooted in sustainability, regenerative growing, and community. By working without pesticides and focusing on low-impact methods, we protect the microbial life that underpins healthy soil, build organic matter to hold water and nutrients, and create conditions where plants can thrive.

Crop rotations, cover crops, and compost return fertility to the soil, while trees, hedges, and wild margins provide food and shelter for pollinators and natural predators that help regulate pests. These systems work together to form a balanced ecosystem where resilience comes from diversity. Our considered approach to farming directly shapes the flowers we grow. Every stem reflects the health of the soil and ecosystem it came from; full of character, resilience, and seasonal nuance.
